3. FAQ
Quick Jump: FAQ | Important Notes
3.1 FAQ
▪ How is "Sales Quantity" calculated?
Sales Quantity refers to the total actual shipment quantity of the product during your set query period. The source is all completed shipment orders.
▪ What's the difference between "Total Stock" and "Available Stock"?
"Total Stock" is the total quantity actually stored in the warehouse, including reserved and locked quantities; "Available Stock" is the quantity available for immediate shipment after deducting reserved and locked. For determining sluggishness, recommend referring to "Total Stock" since these products still occupy warehouse space even if reserved or locked.
▪ Does the query include all merchants' products?
Yes. You can query sluggish products for all merchants within your organization.
▪ Why are query results empty?
Possible reasons: Query conditions too strict (please relax conditions and query again), all products have good sales, or query period too short (recommend at least 3-6 months).
▪ Why are some products listed as sluggish even though they have sales?
This is because the product's sales volume is lower than your set "Maximum Sales". If you think that sales level is not sluggish, lower the "Maximum Sales" setting.
▪ How to determine if it's truly sluggish or a seasonal product?
Check "Created At": Recently created products (< 3 months) may still be in promotion period. Confirm with merchants about product characteristics before making judgment.
3.2 Important Notes
⚠️ Key Reminders
- Query conditions affect results, recommend trying multiple times to find the most suitable settings
- Sluggish products are not necessarily useless, some products are naturally slow-selling or seasonal
- Data is for reference only, final decisions should combine market trends and merchant needs
💡 Usage Tips
- Recommend monthly or quarterly queries to continuously track improvements
- Proactively contact merchants to discuss handling options after finding sluggish products
