2. FAQ

Quick links: FAQImportant Notes

2.1 FAQ

▪ Does editing a bundle affect existing orders?

No. The system records the bundle's contents at the moment an order is created, so later changes don't affect orders that already exist.

▪ Can I change the bundle's SKU?

Yes. But if your sales channels match orders to this bundle by SKU (platform orders expand into bundle contents based on the SKU), orders carrying the old SKU will no longer match this bundle after the change — remember to update the SKU on your channels as well.

▪ What happens if I add the same product on two rows?

If the inventory type is the same, the rows are automatically merged into one with quantities summed when you save. To configure the same product separately, choose different inventory types.

▪ Is the inventory type required?

No. When left unspecified, shipping follows the inventory type set on the order or sales channel — in most cases no special setting is needed.

▪ Can a bundle contain another bundle?

No. Bundles can only contain regular products; nesting is not supported.

▪ What if I get an "SKU already exists" error when saving?

The SKU you entered is already used by a product, flexible product, or another bundle under the same merchant. Use a different SKU.

2.2 Important Notes

⚠️ Important

  • A disabled bundle cannot be selected on new orders; existing orders are not affected
  • Unsaved data is lost when you leave the page
