Section 2: Feature Guide

Coupang is a major Korean e-commerce platform actively expanding into Taiwan. Once integrated, the system fetches new orders from Coupang on schedule and automatically sends tracking numbers back to Coupang after shipment. Coupang integrates via credentials, requires IP whitelisting by Coupang before connecting, and needs return centers and outbound places configured for the shipping methods in use.

Section 3: FAQ

Quick Links: FAQ | Notes

3.1 FAQ

▪ What is the IP whitelist and why is it needed?

The Coupang API is protected by an IP whitelist — only authorized IP addresses can access it. You need to:

  1. Note the server IP shown on the system settings page
  2. Contact Coupang support or apply in the backend to whitelist that IP
  3. Wait for Coupang's approval before the connection works

▪ What if the connection test fails?

Check in order:

  1. Has the IP whitelisting been completed (most common cause)?
  2. Is the Vendor ID correct?
  3. Are the Access Key and Secret Key correct?

▪ Why are orders not being fetched automatically?

Check in order:

  1. Is "Fetch Orders" enabled?
  2. Is a "Fetch Schedule" set?
  3. Is the connection status "Connected" and the IP whitelist still valid?

▪ What if the return/outbound center list is empty?

  1. Confirm the credentials are correct and the IP has been whitelisted
  2. Confirm the return centers and outbound places are configured in the Coupang backend
  3. Click "Load Locations from Coupang" to reload

▪ Do 7-11 and FamilyMart return centers need separate setup?

Yes. In Coupang's convenience-store pickup system, 7-11 and FamilyMart are separate logistics channels, each needing its own return center. If only one chain is used, only that chain's return center is required.

▪ Can I set up multiple Coupang stores?

Yes. If a merchant has multiple Coupang stores, create a separate account for each with its own credentials.

▪ Do the credentials expire?

Coupang API credentials generally do not expire automatically. However, if keys are regenerated in the Coupang backend, the old keys become invalid — update the settings in this system and test the connection again.

▪ Does Coupang need shipping type mappings?

No. Coupang manages shipping methods centrally and the system handles Coupang logistics information automatically; you only need to complete the return center and outbound place settings.

3.2 Notes

⚠️ Important Reminders

  • IP whitelisting is required: This is the most commonly missed step — be sure to confirm it
  • Credential security: Keep the Access Key and Secret Key safe; do not share them
  • Return/outbound centers must be set: Configure the addresses for the shipping methods in use
  • Test before enabling: Test the connection successfully before enabling order fetching
