1.1 Overview
After goods leave the warehouse, tracking delivery status, checking a specific package's progress, or reviewing what shipped today — all start from the Shipment List. A shipment is the delivery record handed to the logistics provider, holding the package's Tracking Number and delivery status. Search by Tracking Number or Barcode to quickly find a package, or filter by date and status to review shipping activity.

3. FAQ
Quick Jump: FAQ | Important Notes
3.1 FAQ
▪ What is a shipment? How is it different from a Fulfillment?
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Fulfillment | The warehouse work order created from a customer order, listing what to ship |
| Shipment | The delivery record handed to the logistics provider, holding the Tracking Number and delivery status |
One Fulfillment may have one or multiple shipments (split packages or reshipment cases). Shipments are used to track delivery status, record the Tracking Number, manage shipping labels, and track recipient signature.
▪ What's the difference between Tracking Number and Barcode?
| Type | Description | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Tracking Number | Tracking code from the logistics provider | External tracking, provider website lookup |
| Barcode | System internal identifier | Internal management, scanner quick lookup |
▪ How is the shipment Status updated?
The system syncs delivery status with logistics providers; the status updates automatically as providers report progress. Update frequency depends on the provider. For real-time information, look up the Tracking Number on the provider's website.
▪ What does Label Status mean?
Label Status shows the shipping label generation progress: "Pending" means not started, "Processing" means generating, "Generated" means ready to download and print, and "Print Failed" means generation failed and needs reprocessing.
▪ Why does one order have multiple shipments?
Multiple shipments are created when:
- Split Shipment: Some items are out of stock; available items ship first
- Split Packages: Items exceed one package's limits and are delivered in multiple packages
- Reshipment: First delivery failed and was returned; reshipped after correcting information
▪ How to quickly find a specific shipment?
| Situation | Recommended Method |
|---|---|
| Know the Tracking Number | Search the Tracking Number directly |
| Know the Order Number | Search the Order Number |
| Received a returned package | Scan the package's Barcode with a scanner |
| Find problem shipments | Filter Status by "Problem" |
| Find a specific 貨主's shipments | Filter by 貨主 |
▪ How to export shipment data?
Method 1: Export selected shipments
- Select the shipments to export
- Click "Export"
Method 2: Export all shipments matching your filters
- Set filter conditions
- Check the header checkbox, then click "Select all records matching criteria"
- Click "Export"
When the export completes, the file downloads automatically; you can also get it from the "Background Tasks" panel via "Download". Larger exports take longer; contact technical support if it doesn't finish after a long time.
▪ Can I delete a shipment?
The Shipment List page has no delete action. Open the order's detail page from "Order List", then click "Delete" in the shipments section; deleted shipments can be restored in the same place via "Restore". Shipments whose label is still processing must wait until the label finishes before they can be deleted.
Deleting a shipment does not cancel a package that has already been sent. To cancel a package already with the logistics provider, contact the provider, wait for the package to return, or ask the recipient to refuse delivery.
▪ Why can't I find a shipment?
Check in order:
- Clear all filter conditions first, then search again
- Confirm whether a specific 貨主 filter is set; the shipment may belong to another 貨主
- Verify the Tracking Number or Order Number is correct (search uses prefix matching — start typing from the beginning of the number)
- Confirm the order has been shipped
▪ Delivery Status not updating?
Possible causes and solutions:
- Provider hasn't reported yet: Check again later
- Incorrect Tracking Number: Verify the Tracking Number
- Provider system issues: Check the provider's official website or contact their customer service
▪ Why can't I see some 貨主's shipments?
Your account isn't authorized to view that 貨主's data. The warehouse operations system only shows authorized 貨主 within your organization. This is a system security measure. Contact your system administrator to access more 貨主.
3.2 Important Notes

- Logistics Reconciliation: Export data monthly for provider reconciliation; keep export files as records
- Data Isolation: You can only view authorized 貨主 shipments; contact your system administrator for additional access
