1. Features
Edit Purchase Order is for modifying an order still in the draft stage. The form fields are identical to Create Purchase Order; the difference is that here you modify an existing draft rather than create a new order.

1.1 Editable Scope
Only orders in "Draft" status can be edited. If an order has been submitted for review or moved to a later status, the system shows a not-editable message and takes you back to the Purchase Order Detail. To change a submitted order, first reject it back to draft on the detail page, or cancel it and recreate.
1.2 Form Fields
The editable fields are the same as when creating:
- Basic info: order number, supplier, currency, tax rate, tax-inclusive, expected delivery date, note
- Item details: add/remove items, adjust quantity and unit price (keep at least one item)
- Adjustments: add/remove discounts / surcharges
- Amount summary: recalculates in real time as you edit
The merchant an order belongs to is fixed at creation and does not change during editing. For how to fill each field and its limits, see the corresponding sections in Create Purchase Order.
1.3 Save
After editing, click "Save"; the order stays in "Draft" status and returns to the Purchase Order Detail once saved. To formally enter the review flow, click "Submit" on the detail page.
2. FAQ
2.1 FAQ
▪ Why was I redirected to the detail page when entering the edit page?
Because this order is no longer in "Draft" status. Only drafts can be edited; submitted or later statuses are blocked and redirected to the detail page.
▪ How do I change the content of a submitted order?
On the Purchase Order Detail, reject it back to draft (needs approval permission), or cancel it and create a new one. Once back in draft, you can edit it again.
▪ Can I add or remove items while editing?
Yes — you can add/remove items and change quantities and unit prices, but you must keep at least one item to save.
▪ Will my changes affect an already-created inbound?
That situation can't arise — a draft order has no linked inbounds yet. Once an inbound has been created, the order is no longer a draft and therefore can't be edited.
▪ Will saving automatically submit for review?
No. Saving only preserves your changes; the order stays a draft. To send it for review, click "Submit" separately on the detail page.
2.2 Notices
⚠️ Important
- Only "Draft" can be edited; all other statuses cannot open the edit page
- Keep at least one item to save
- Saving is not submitting; the order stays a draft and must be submitted manually to enter review
