3.1 FAQ
▪ What's the difference between Warehouse System and Merchant Portal brand management?
| Capability | Merchant Portal | Warehouse System |
|---|---|---|
| Scope | Own merchant's brands only | All merchants in organization |
| Merchant Selection | Not needed (auto-filled) | Must select |
▪ Can brand names be duplicated?
Brand names cannot be duplicated within the same merchant, but different merchants can have brands with the same name.
▪ Can I move a brand to another merchant?
No. Merchant assignment cannot be changed after brand creation. If you need to move it, delete the original brand and recreate it under the new merchant.
▪ Will deleting a brand affect products?
The brand field on products will be cleared, but the products themselves will not be deleted. We recommend changing related products to a different brand before deletion.
▪ Why can't I find the merchant I want to add?
Please confirm you have management permissions for that merchant. If you cannot see the target merchant, contact your administrator to verify permission settings.
