1.1 Overview ​

Distribution is the process of sorting picked items into orders after picking. After scanning a picking list, the system displays a distribution grid. Each time you scan a product barcode, the system indicates which slot the item should go to, with voice announcements and visual highlights.

Example 1: Start Distribution with a Picking List ​

Situation: Picking is complete, and items need to be sorted into orders.

How to do it:

  1. Go to the Distribution page
  2. Scan the picking list barcode
  3. System loads the picking list data and displays the distribution grid

Result: The distribution grid shows all orders, ready for product scanning.

Example 2: Scan Products for Distribution ​

Situation: A picking list is loaded, and you need to scan items to their correct slots.

How to do it:

  1. Pick up an item
  2. Scan the product barcode
  3. Listen for the voice announcement of the slot number (e.g., "3")
  4. Place the item in the corresponding slot

Result: The slot's progress updates, and completed slots turn green.

Example 3: Use Jump Mode ​

Situation: There are many slots, and you need clearer visual cues.

How to do it:

  1. Turn on "Jump Mode" in the top right corner
  2. Scan a product barcode
  3. Watch the full-screen animation

Result: A large animation shows the target slot clearly when scanning items.

2.1 Main Areas ​

Distribution Grid ​

  • Location: Left side of the page
  • Function: Displays all order distribution slots in a grid layout
  • Slot States:
    • Gray: No order assigned
    • Blue: Order pending distribution
    • Green: Order distribution complete
    • Highlighted: Target slot for just-scanned item

Barcode Scanning Area ​

  • Location: Right side of the page
  • Function: Input or scan barcodes
  • Workflow:
    1. First scan a picking list barcode to load data
    2. Then scan product barcodes for distribution

Distribution Statistics ​

  • Location: Below the barcode scanning area
  • Displays:
    • Total orders
    • Completed orders

2.2 Advanced Features ​

Jump Mode ​

  • Purpose: Shows full-screen animation when scanning items
  • How to enable: Toggle "Jump Mode" in the top right of the distribution area
  • Best for: Large grids or when clear visual cues are needed

Categorize Mode ​

  • Purpose: Handle items not on the picking list
  • How to enable: Toggle "Categorize Mode" (picking list must be loaded first)
  • Function: Items not on the picking list are placed in empty slots and marked as "Categorized"

Adjust Grid Size ​

  • Location: Top right of the distribution area
  • Settings:
    • Rows: 2-10
    • Columns: 2-10
  • Total slots: Rows × Columns

2.3 Step-by-Step Operations ​

▸ Start Distribution ​

  1. Go to the Distribution page
  2. Scan the picking list barcode
  3. Wait for the system to load the picking list data
  4. Start scanning product barcodes

▸ View Order Details ​

  1. Click any slot in the distribution grid
  2. View the order's item list
  3. Check distribution progress
  4. Click "Close" to return to distribution

▸ Reset Distribution ​

  1. Click the "Reset" button
  2. Type "clear" in the confirmation dialog
  3. Click "Confirm"
  4. System clears all current distribution records

3.1 FAQ ​

▪ No response when scanning a product? ​

Please check:

  1. Have you scanned a picking list first?
  2. Is the product on this picking list?
  3. Is the barcode correct?

If the product is not on the picking list, enable "Categorize Mode" to handle it.

▪ How do I know when distribution is complete? ​

  • Single order complete: Slot turns green
  • Check the "Completed" count in the statistics area
  • Click a slot to view detailed progress

▪ What if I scan the wrong product? ​

Currently, you need to use the "Reset" function to clear all distribution records and start over, or contact an administrator.

▪ What's the difference between Jump Mode and normal mode? ​

  • Normal mode: The slot briefly highlights after scanning
  • Jump Mode: A full-screen animation appears, better for large grids

▪ What is Categorize Mode? ​

Categorize Mode handles items not on the picking list. When enabled, items not on the list are placed in empty slots and marked as "Categorized".

▪ Can I process multiple picking lists at once? ​

No. You can only process one picking list at a time. Complete the current one before loading another.

  • Don't close the page before completing distribution to avoid data loss
  • The "Reset" function clears all distribution records—use with caution
  • Verify picking list data before starting distribution
