Scenario 1: Confirm category details

Situation: Need to verify when a category was created and last updated to understand its history.

How to do it:

1. Go to the Product Categories list
2. Click the target category's Category Name
3. View the category details page

Result: You can see complete category information including Category Name, Created At, Updated At, etc.

Scenario 2: Edit category from details page

Situation: While viewing category details, you notice the name needs adjustment.

How to do it:

1. Click the "Edit" button on the category details page
2. Modify Category Name
3. Click "Save"

Result: Category name updated. Products using this category will automatically display the new name.

2. Feature Guide

The Product Categories details page displays complete information about a category, including Category Name, creation time, and last update time. From here, you can navigate to edit the category or delete it if needed.

▪ Are categories shared across all merchants?

Yes. Categories are shared by all merchants within the organization. Any merchant's products can use the same categories. This ensures consistent categorization standards.

▪ Why is the delete button disabled?

This may be due to insufficient permissions. If you need to delete categories, please contact your administrator to verify your permission settings.

▪ Will deleting a category affect products?

Yes. After deleting a category, products that were using it will become "uncategorized". We recommend moving related products to other categories before deleting.

▪ What does Updated At represent?

Updated At shows when this category was last modified. If it has never been modified, Updated At will be the same as Created At.

▪ How can I see which products use this category?

Go to "Products", use the category filter, and select this category to view all products using it.

• Categories are shared by all merchants; modifying or deleting affects all merchants
• Deleting a category will make related products uncategorized; please confirm before proceeding
• When modifying Category Name, it cannot duplicate other category names

• If you need to significantly restructure categories, plan ahead before making changes
